Had a great Valentine's Dinner with 12 new & old friends! Our server Bree was Awesome! Very professional and friendly *****! Food was Delicious.

I love Sweeney’s. Whether it’s going out for a drink with friends or eating dinner with family, I always enjoy my stay. Great service, great food, and they often have live music.

Even under the new rules this place retained all the goodness. Staff was super friendly and food was decently priced and delicious. Pulled pork was tasty and not too spicy.

Matt at the bar was outstanding! Quick service and when my phone died he went above and beyond to find a charger so that I could charge my phone and get an Uber later in the night! One of the best services I’ve experienced and and huge thanks to him, more bartenders should be like Matt. Will certainly come back to Sweeneys from this experience alone.

Was a regular customer, always go with 10 to 12 people, last Friday I was charged $15.50 for my drinks that were never more than $10.00,Spoke to a manager who offered a little money off but never took it off, I left my contact info on their website but no one called Guess they don't care They got my Money.Time to stop inviting people to meet us there, What a way to lose a good customerA different Manager called me to make things right, I will go back but I think my days of drinking Johnnie Walker on the rocks is over there.have to find something a little less expensive to drink

We have eaten here several times in the past. The Food atmosphere and service have always been reasonably good. Unfortunately our last visit the food was bland, the promotion is basically bogus and while the service was good my food was not prepared the way i requested it and the price for a corona ( which was barely cool) was somewhat expensive. I won't be in a rush to return.

Went for Mother’s Day Brunch. Food was good. Waitress was very friendly. Food was well stocked. Variety and price was good. Tables were spaced good so you could move around them without bumping into people

We were here for Dueling pianos, and that specific night was crazy busy because it was Valentine's Weekend ! We made reservations with our friends to go and I am so happy that we did. Food took a really long time, but we were patient and we understood that it was no one's fault. However, there were other groups of people who were not so patient and walked out. I will go back though on a less busy day and I'm sure I'll enjoy the food just as much then.

This was an okay place, nothing really good or bad about it... It's a consistently okay place though. A safe bet if you want something different than the usual places but not too different.

Great place to eat and dance with your friends. Great band. Rock Bottom was great tonight.

From the first moment you come to that place team give you a pleasant feeling. Very courteous waiters, it is a friendly restaurant to hang out with buddies or with your date. enjoyable food, creative chef, modest cost and generous service. Highly recommended.

This place is phenomenal!! The staff is wonderful,and friendly. And thier seasonal drink menu is amazing!! And the food is top notch!!! Something for everyone..from traditional bar menu, but next level bar food, to Irish faire, they put they're spin on everything! I will definitely be back again..best food in brick as far as I'm concerned!! Highly highly recommend!

Its either really good or not but always worth the try.

Where to begin? The appetizers at least were decent. My wife's fish and chips was 90% batter and the other 10% was less than fresh fish. My son had a pulled pork sandwich that was so sweet it actually gave him a headache (it smelled like brown sugar and ketchup) and I had the "Any time Irish Breakfast" The eggs over easy were somehow runny, and completely browned on the underside. My wife theorized that they never flipped it and just let it cook through. The black and white puddings (sausage) were overcooked into dry hockey pucks. And the beans were basically white beans in tomato soup. I posted a picture of the eggs as well. The only saving grace thus place has is a pretty good drinks and draught list to put out the absolute dumpster fire that is the food. The service was absolutely fine, we were just served far below standard food.

Friendly environment, great food and prices, staff is always there for you, this is my spot with my buddies, they also host events!

When friends suggested this restaurant, I wasn't excited about Irish food, but I was pleasantly surprised. In addition to Irish favorites, there is a varied pub fare menu. I had delicious French onion soup and the Sweeney burger. This is one of the few places that made it rare as I requested. The fish and chips got good reviews too. Many items like Shepherd's Pie would be a good choice on cold winter day.

Great food and great service

One of my favorite places in the Brick area. I always have a great time here. The servers are polite and the food is great. They have some of the best wings in the area. Drinks are also made to perfection. Servers also have a tendency to make sure your doing fine but also give you space to enjoy the dining experience. No matter how busy it gets, you feel like you are being taken care of. Would highly recommend whether it's for food or drinks (or both).

The food is always great! The atmosphere is awesome! Just be aware on St. Patty's Day....there's always a VERY long wait!!

TGreat experience overall. Great staff and food. The taller lady is very funny and showed us the keg urinal. This is a great place to get together after an outing.

Pleasant atmosphere with spacious side room with Windows for a private party. Friendly, attentive staff and good food.

We had Jonathan as our server. (I know, same name as me, pretty cool). He was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and very attentive and understood when we were getting up to go dance with the live band and that we would be back to order or finish our food. Overall just wonderful. Props to Jonathan.

We enjoyed the Friday night band out side under a tent. I think they need to have some kind of fan out there. Over all we had an awesome time.

Arrived at 4:00 sunday...empty parking lot,open handicap parking, we go inside and the dining room is empty,the hostess says. Do you have a reservation? We say no...she then tells us there are no openings...duh!! Were all those people going to arrive at the same time? so we went to the Mantoloking Ale House

Outstanding Irish pub. I had the Irish beef stew, we also had their Fish and Chip's. Both were great. Of course we had to have a Guinness or three.

Food is ok. Hopefully you like to wait forever for your mediocre food to be ready. Over an hour for 0 alcoholic drinks, 2 apps for 4 people and a meal each

Great service...but the chef is spice happy. Ordered nachos very disappointed that the cheese was spicy had to return. I don't understand why the need for spices even in the burgers. I can't go back had to find a meal somewhere else.

Food is to be desired ..service was lacking ..it's a good place if you want a casual night out for drinks and entertainment

Went to celebrate Shane Lowery's win at the British Open. Waiter was friendly. Ordered the bambam shrimp. Very over-cooked! The corn beef and cabbage was drowning in water (tasted like nothing). Corned beef was not fresh but gyro-style slices. Fish (from fish n chips) was twice-cooked. The manager has a lot to learn about how to deal with a complaint. Very short and aggressive...telling us everything was "fresh".. NOT! My wife did not want to deal with her and I missed out on the music about to start because of the incident.

Food was good. Nice atmosphere. Good deal with offer to pay cash and get 30% off food.

Sweeny's is a great bar. Go there most Thursday nights for their pong tournaments. Great atmosphere, tasty food, friendly people.
